Dr. Joseph J. Castellano
Medical Director
is a native Floridian where he grew up 
in the Tampa Bay area. After attending Jesuit High School, he attended the University of Florida where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry in 2000, graduating with honors.
He received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of South Florida
in 2005. During medical school he received clinical honors in Surgery, and received the Watson Clinic Award for best research by a medical student.
From 2005 to 2007, Dr. Castellano completed his first two years of General Surgery residency at the University of Florida, Shands Hospital. From 2007-2010, he completed his residency training in General Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.
During medical school and his 5 years of training in General Surgery, Dr. Castellano developed a strong interest in Cosmetic Surgery. He followed his residency training with an elective year of specialized training with the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
From 2010-2011, he completed a fellowship in Indiana focused entirely of cosmetic surgery of the face and body. During his fellowship, he received specialized training in facial rejuvenation, breast augmentation, abdominoplasty, and body contouring. Dr. Castellano received his board certification from the American College of Surgeons in 2010.
Dr. Castellano has now returned home and has opened a new practice and became Medical Director of Esteem Medical Aesthetics in Tampa, Florida focusing on breast augmentation, abdominoplasty, liposuction, facelift, and eyelid rejuvenation. Additionally, he operates on numerous skin cancers, scar revisions, spider veins, and specializes in the management of aging skin with chemical peels and laser resurfacing.
Kristen Capo, ARNP, NP-C
Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and Aesthetic Specialist
Kristen graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2001. With a concentration in Neurological and Cardiothoracic Surgery, she then pursued her Master’s degree from the University of South Florida, graduating summa cum laude. She is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and an active member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. Since receiving her Master’s, she has been in the medical aesthetic field, concentrating on non-surgical techniques for wrinkle reduction, skin tightening, hair reduction, scar reduction, hyper-pigmentations, and various other skin problems, through lasers, Botox and various fillers. Kristen’s years of experience in aesthetic medicine help patients achieve a more youthful appearance with a greater confidence. She looks forward to meeting with you to help you meet your individual goals and educate you on your options in the ever-changing field of aesthetics.
Jennifer Garlick, ARNP, NP-C
Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and Aesthetic Specialist
Jennifer Garlick graduated with a B.S.N. in nursing in 1999 from University of South Florida. She then received her M.S.N in Family Health in 2004 from Rutgers University. Her past experience has included working in Hematology-Oncology and Gynecological-Oncology. In 2007, her career path led her to the study of aesthetics and a job with Esteem medspa.
A devoted wife, and Mother of three young children, Jenn possesses a naturally gentle disposition and nurturing nature. From the start of her aesthetics career, Jenn distinguished herself as a trustworthy individual with a kind heart, steady hand, and artistic eye. Certified to operate Aesthetic Lasers and inject Botox, Juvederm and Radiesse her effectiveness is evidenced by the steady stream of satisfied clients eager to share their exceptional make-over results with friends and family. An accomplished medical professional, Jenn continually enhances her knowledge and skills through advanced training in the latest aesthetic techniques and technology. Louise Short
Licensed Medical Aesthetician
Louise began her career in England by achieving the prestigious CIDESCO diploma, an internationally recognized degree in the Esthetics field. She opened her own business in England which led to an opportunity in the Middle East where she pioneered a Spa for the Diplomatic Community in Amman, Jordan. She worked and traveled extensively with her husband, a US military officer. Her work experience included Spas in Washington DC; Pinehurst, NC; and Georgia. In Tampa, Louise managed the Esthetics department at Spa Malia, worked for a local plastic surgeon, and directed the Spa Department at Marcelina, a private women’s club. More recently she was employed at the Red Door Spa at Saks Fifth Avenue. She then invested her knowledge and training into Esthetics students at a local training school. As a Patient Care Coordinator, Louise brings her thirty years of experience to direct Esteem Medspa and she has the vision to establish and maintain Esteem Medspa as the foremost location for luxurious yet highly technical cutting edge treatments. She plans to take this most beautiful spa to the next level by customizing every clients beauty and wellness needs until the desired results are attained.
