Radiesse®

Radiesse is an FDA approved long lasting facial filler that contains crystals that stimulate the growth of your own collagen. Typically used for facial folds, creases and soft tissue augmentation. Radiesse is great for the cheeks, chin and other facial areas where a large volume of dermal filler is required. Radiesse creates a scaffold of micro-beads under your skin that stimulates your own natural collagen to grow, resulting in a natural, soft effect.
How does the treatment work?
Radiesse is injected in small amounts underneath the skin to fill in creases, lines, wrinkles and folds. To maximize comfort, an anesthetic topical cream or anesthetic block may be administered.
What are the benefits of Radiesse®?
The final result leaves facial features looking healthy, youthful and fuller.
How many treatments are required?
Multiple treatments may be necessary to optimize results. Two to four weeks after the first treatment is administered, a touch-up treatment may be required to achieve the desired results.
Are there any possible side effects?
Possible side effects include swelling, redness, and in some cases, bruising.
Generally these side effects disappear within a couple of days.
Will there be any downtime?
There is no downtime. The treatment session takes about thirty minutes to perform.
How soon will results appear?
Your results appear after any swelling diminishes.
How long do the results last?
Radiesse can last for as long as one to two years. Factors such as age, skin type and daily activities can influence how long the results last from one person to the next.
Liquid Face Lift
As we age our skin doesn't just wrinkle, the tissues beneath the skin lose volume causing the skin to sag and fold. A facelift, which surgically removes excess skin, doesn't address the need to infuse the facial features with volume and dimension. A more appropriate treatment for many men and women is a Liquid Face Lift.
A Liquid Face Lift is accomplished using injectible treatments such as BOTOX and Dermal Fillers, including Juvéderm, Restylane, Radiesse and numerous others. These dermal fillers are made of naturally existing molecules such as Hyaluronic Acid and Calcium Hydroxyapatite which are biocompatible, biodegradable, and are absorbed by the body over time. Dermal Fillers may be used to augment diminished, sunken facial features like the cheeks, cheek bones, temples, nasolabial folds (smile lines), and lines around the mouth and lower face.
Unlike a surgical facelift, a Liquid Face Lift can typically be done in around and hour, requires
no sedation, and results in little or no downtime.
Our Medspas can help bring it out.
